I graduated from Utah State University in May 2005 with a dual Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. I spent the next 5 years teaching for a school district in northern Utah. I taught 1st grade for one year, and kindergarten for four years. I quit my job in the summer of 2010 when my husband's work brought us here to the Basin. We have two boys, and we love to spend time in the outdoors. I love cooking, reading, photography, digital scrapbooking, and overall just being with my family.
I love teaching. I love watching the excitement on a child's face when he or she learns something new, makes a new connection to the world. I am passionate about education and the good it does in our lives.
